Built in 1151 of the Muslim era (1782-1783 AD) by Pasha Ahmed Ali Rifi on the English Upper Castle and, according to legend, in the place where the temple dedicated to Hercules was erected, this archaeological museum is very appreciated for its treasure room, its central courtyard, its garden and its extraordinary Roman mosaic representing the arrival of Venus.
